NAWWE Project Contact Persons?
« on: January 08, 2010, 05:44:54 AM »

Greetings.

I am part of a team at UN-ECLAC's Statistics and Economic Projections Division working on the moderinization of our national accounts and economic statistics databases.  One of our priorities in this context is making our systems SDMX-capable.

The Website http://webnet.oecd.org/nawwe/ has useful information, but seems a little bit outdated. I would appreciate any contact information of people engaged in the NAWWE project.  Also, does anybody know if NAWWE will be included in the agenda of the OECD / UNECE Expert Group Meeting on SDMX that will take place next March in Geneva?

Thank you in advance.

Luis:

Although I don't have any good contacts for NAAWE itself, I would suggest that you get in touch with Rene Piche from the IMF. He is very involved in their SDMX work, and I know he is interested in the standard structure for National Accounts. He might be able to give you better information.

Cheers,
